Live Music Sessions
At StockHouse Restaurant in Trim, Co. Meath, we do things a little differently. We don’t chase trends. We focus on quality. We serve good food, host great music, and pour a decent pint. That’s it. No fuss. No fluff.
Over the years, our small restaurant in the heart of Trim has become known for hosting live music sessions that pack a punch. We’ve had Irish music legends play on our stage—Frances Black, The Wolfe Tones, Aslan, The Stunning, to name a few. If you’re after a place where music, food, and community come together naturally, this is it.

The Home of Irish Music in Trim
Trim isn’t short of charm. It’s packed with heritage, winding streets, and old pubs. But when the sun goes down and the guitars come out, StockHouse is where it’s at. We’re proud to say we’ve hosted gigs that people still talk about years later.
Live music isn’t just a backdrop here — it’s part of the experience. The crowd’s close to the stage. There’s no green room. Musicians eat with customers, chat at the bar, and play like they mean it. That’s why so many of them come back.
We don’t overbook. We don’t overhype. We let the music do the work. And when someone like Frances Black or Aslan starts belting out a tune, you’ll feel it in your chest.
Past Acts We’ve Hosted
We’ve had our fair share of music royalty in the house. Some names you'll know. Some were just starting out when they played here. All of them brought something special. Here’s a quick look at some acts who’ve filled the room:
Frances Black – soul-stirring Irish ballads that hush the room
The Wolfe Tones – rebel tunes that get the whole place singing
Aslan – gritty, heartfelt songs with crowd energy you can’t bottle
The Stunning – big sound, no ego, pure craft
And many more…
And yes, the walls have heard it all—from acoustic sets that bring a tear, to foot-stomping sessions that shake the glassware.
Regular Live Sessions
We don’t just book big names. We believe in supporting musicians of every level. You’ll find regular live sessions here that give local talent a stage and an audience. We make room for everything from folk to trad, acoustic to rock.
Sometimes it’s a planned gig. Sometimes it’s a spur-of-the-moment session when someone pulls out a fiddle. Either way, the tunes roll, the crowd listens, and the night unfolds naturally.
We post upcoming events on our social media pages and in-house board. So if you're planning a night out, keep an eye on what’s coming up.
