Digital Gift Card Disclaimer

1. Terms & Conditions

Usage: Digital gift cards (“Gift Cards”) may be redeemed only for eligible goods or services offered by the issuing merchant. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by applicable law.
Validity: Unless otherwise stated by the issuing merchant or required by law, Gift Cards do not expire and are non-reloadable.
Security: Treat Gift Cards like cash. The merchant or provider is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorised use of any Gift Card once issued.
Limitations: Gift Cards may not be used to purchase additional gift cards, and may be subject to restrictions on promotional items, booking deposits, or specific services.
Balance Management: Remaining balances can be checked through the merchant’s designated platform. Any unused balance will remain on the card for future purchases.
Fraud Prevention: The issuing merchant and its payment partners reserve the right to verify identity, limit use, or cancel Gift Cards if suspicious or fraudulent activity is detected.

2. Delivery Policy

Digital Delivery: Gift Cards are delivered electronically to the email address provided at checkout. Delivery typically occurs immediately, or is scheduled, but may take up to several hours depending on payment authorisation and system load.
Order Confirmation: A confirmation receipt will be sent to the purchaser once the transaction is approved.
Incorrect Details: The customer is responsible for providing accurate recipient information. The merchant or gift card provider is not liable for delays or losses due to incorrect email details.
Technical Issues: If delivery is delayed due to system or network errors, the merchant or provider will make reasonable efforts to resend the Gift Card once the issue is resolved.

3. Returns & Refunds Policy

Non-Refundable: Digital Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned or cancelled once issued, except where required by consumer protection law.
Payment Disputes: In cases of suspected unauthorised transactions, the purchaser must contact their payment provider.
Faulty or Undelivered Cards: If a Gift Card is not delivered due to a technical error or is otherwise defective, the merchant or provider will resend the Gift Card or issue a replacement after verifying the purchase.
Change of Mind: Refunds are not provided for mistaken purchases, change of mind, or unused balances.

4. General Disclaimer

By purchasing or using a Gift Card, the purchaser and/or recipient agrees to these Terms & Conditions, Delivery Policy, and Returns Policy. The issuing merchant reserves the right to modify these policies at any time. All use is subject to local laws and the merchant’s overarching terms of service.
